Join us as we hike 10 peaks for the 10 year anniversary of Urban Uprising on 12th August 2023! 🙌 

Urban Uprising was founded in August 2013 with the aim of helping disadvantaged young people through climbing. Though the generous support of many donations over the years we have grown and help more and more young people each year. Fundraise with us and help us continue this trend! 😀

We have chosen the Lake District for this as our community is spread across the UK and this is a central location that gives everyone the opportunity to come and be part of it. 👍

This fundraising challenge is for everyone no matter your fitness level or experience. Go at your own pace and do it with who you want to. Anyone can join so you can bring family and friends. Make it your own level of challenge. Some people will run it, some will walk it all, some will walk as far as they can, it is all good. 

We will all be using this central fundraising page, so you don't need to create your own. 👌

Please RSVP to tell us that you will take part in this fundraising challenge! The more people we have involved the more funds we can raise. 💪

You also have the option of hanging out with the group at the end in one of the local pubs or outdoors if it is a nice evening. There might be some plans on the side that develop for the Sunday like climbing, SUP, kayaking, slack-lining or just chilling in nature. Bring gear and we will see what happens!  

IMPORTANT: everyone is organising and taking responsibility for themselves. Do your own research, arrange your own accommodation, ensure your own safety. We will all be starting the hike as one big group which will likely split into smaller groups. Parking spaces can be hard to find but if you have booked accommodation there will be parking there.

The peaks we will be hiking are Rossett Pike, Allen Crags, Great End, Ill Crag, Broad Crag, Lingmell, Scafell Pike, Esk Pike, Bowfell North Top, and Bowfell.
